1/21/23 – We’ll have 16 episodes in season 7 and 10 episodes in season 8. Twenty six episodes!! That will be epic! Thank you, Outlander cast and crew for 8 glorious seasons. Best. Show. Ever.

I'm so sad that this is coming to an end and insanely curious as to how it's going to end since it will, presumably, be somewhat different from the end of the book series. It's been such an emotional journey both reading and watching the series but I can't wait to see the cast in other projects too. Thank you to everyone that has worked on this show in any capacity. You've done such an amazing job!

One of my favorite series of all times. Everyone and everything was exactly how I imagined it to be. Thank you cast, crew, producers and Diana Gabaldon for bringing such a wonderful story to life. Can't wait to watch and read the conclusion!

It has been an epic adventurer that will be long remembered. We all will cherish this final season. Farewells are always bitter sweet. Thought Robert Burns said it best:
My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here
My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer
A-chasing the wild deer and following the roe
My heart's in the Highlands wherever I go
Farewell to the Highlands, farewell to the North
The birthpace of valour, the country of worth
Wherever I wander, wherever I rove
The hills of the Highlands forever I love
Farewell to the mountains high covered with snow
Farewell to the straths and green valleys below
Farewell to the forests and wild-hanging woods
Farewell to the torrents and loud-pouring floods
My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here
My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer
Chasing the wild deer and following the roe
    My heart's in the Highlands
    Wherever I go

Wait! How will we find out about Jamie’s ghost from the 1st episode then? The Author said that the explanation will be only in book 10 and it hasn’t come out yet.

It would have been wonderful to see ALL the books played out. We will miss so much. However, Diana Gabaldon has given us so many details that we've all seen the series already in our minds. Fabulous series, thank you all so much! Wish you the best in future endeavors.

Again your title is wrong and misleading the viewers. It's not the first time it happens. Min 0.51 says clearly : SEASON 7 premiere in Summer 2023. With each " mistake" your credibility is smaller and smaller.

I have mixed feelings about the end of the series. I'm so glad that they have stuck so close to the source material and I really hope that even though they don't have book 10 to reference, they will still be able to end it in a satisfying way. At the same time, I fear an end similar to GOT where the final season blew up in their faces. In an ideal world, they'd end it the same way that the books will end but since that hasn't been written yet, likely won't happen. But maybe if we're lucky once the books do wrap up STARZ and the cast might be willing to come back for a movie/ limited series closing it out the way Diana wrote it.

I am both happy and sad to see that this series will already come to its end on Season 8, but I am so glad that I will get to witness it and what I know will be an amazing conclusion. I'll never forget when I discovered this series was being created only months after I read the first Outlander book, and then how happy I felt watching the first episode. What a crazy and exciting coincidence that was!! I was able to keep up with Seasons 1-3, but sadly was desperately short on time and could not watch Season 4-6 as they aired – I plan to catch up this spring and to watch Season 7 and 8 with everyone else. 🙂 Very excited, despite the bittersweet knowledge that this will be the end of an era.
