No disrespect but isn’t Aladdin suppose to be middle Eastern/Arab decent. Hence the Arabic name Aladdin or Yasmeen (aka Jasmine). This is more like a Bollywood production not Arabian! Hollywood needs to step up their research.Rami Malek or Mena Massoud is appropriate for Aladdin but a younger Selma Hayek look alike or Zoe Saldana would be a better jasmine!

The original animated is still my ultimate favourite. With all the new technology, green screens etc, still cant beat the original. There will always be this thing about when the characters talk to eachother that they just didnt get there in this movie. Even Apu made a huge connection with Aladdin in the original. Aladdin and Jasmine meant to be inlove looks like they just talk on the internet in this movie.

This just ruined Aladdin for me. I thought Jasmine was the prettiest disney character. Why cast someone so plain looking? Why does the guy look like he be more interested in the genie? What is this…. why is hollywood always doing stupid things.
