the level of detailed attention and work is amazing.
the final product fits into the world so well that i would believe that some how we got a Talking Raccoon from space to come down and do the acting.
like these characters are not just animated CGI, they are real….
everyone working together to pull that off is true magic.
    well done.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible.

Groot looked the best he's ever been in the MCU, that also goes for his appearence in the Holiday Special. Rocket looked superb too, just massive kudos to James Gunn and the VFX team

In this work GoG vol.3, Rocket is the main character. So it seems they had to perfect the rocket CGI. The result is a wonderful piece of work.

This was very impressive, but it only got awkward when they needed Sean Gunn (whom did the motion capture for rocket) to mount the actor who subbed for groot.

doesn't it feel insane that after watching this video made me realize that Groot & Rocket are just vfx cgi… while in the movie, they both look so alive
