I mean Bob still came up with the basic concept for the Batman therefore he created him. Bill gave him his look but that’s like if Lucas came up with the concept for Darth Vader and someone else suggested he wear a black helmet, they contributed but they wouldn’t be the creator. We live in a society where everything has to be debunked to appease some chubby blue hair millennials on reddit. We live in a society

Bill finger was real Batman creator..bob kane had the outline but bill was true father the Batman..while bob lived a life of luxury on Bill's creation
bills life was opposite he lived rest of his life on public assistance. Living in poverty…bob ddnt lift a finger to help him..if he did there no proof he did nothing for bill. If anyone deserved the true credit for creating Batman it's the Great Bill finger..

Now let's make one for the ghost women behind the Amazon princess: Joye Murchison, Dottie Wolfolk, and others.

(I usually write about those two a lot, you can find me on my twitter handle @NaveHaider).

Awesome doco.. Disappointed with how things ended, the family going to the Premiere at the end and not one person thought to invite the guy responsible for it all, Marc Tyler Nobleman and his family.. I felt for that guy and his daughter, especially the scene when he just found out and his daughter comes in and sees it on the laptop and they embrace.. I thought how selfish of the Fingers to not extend an invitation to Marc & his family, let alone some financial token for his time and efforts.

Bill Finger is a plagiarist. Batman's first story, "The Case of the Chemical Syndicate" is a direct ripoff of a Shadow pulp novel called "Partners of Peril." I mean a beat for beat theft job, right down to the illustrations. Both Bob Kane and Bill Finger were artistic charlatans.

This reminds me of the controversy of whether John Barry actually wrote the James Bond theme even though it's credited to Monty Norman. Anytime someone would try to credit Barry, Norman's family would call out the lawyers.

Why teach children useful things at school when you can give them a lecture on the true origins of Batman? Very important stuff. Not saying I don’t enjoy learning about the subject but a lecture to elementary students on it? Really?
