Good movie but terrible cast. Except Steve Carell
You guys know that Riggs was a old dude on his 50s that compete an athlete kinda in her prime right ?????
1) from what I’m aware Riggs was an avid gambler and did this for exposure (and money, rumors say gambling debt)
So it seems like the trailer is showing that side
2. Yes We know!! A female tennis player so far did not defeat an equivalent male tennis player
(Eg Bobby was out of prime in this match & lost, Serena Williams competed deliberately with a man outside of the top 200 & still lost )
But so what? I don’t think movie is making such a statement
This is bad
emma stone was outstanding in this movie
This movie is the most bland and boring movie ever. I am not offended but why is this a battle between a young women and a 55 year old. Like who watches this type of movie when there are so good movies out there
Andy kaufman did the same thing in wrestling.
14 Minutes to 27 Minutes

♫♫ BILLIE JEAN KING IS NOT MY LOVER SHE'S JUST A GIRL WHO CLAIMS THAT I AM THE ONE♫♫
I did not see this movie playing anywhere and I play tennis. I saw the real thing on T.V. Bobby was a hustler. I think he knew he was gonna lose.
There's absolutely nothing in this movie that isn't worth cheering for no matter who or what you are…
P.S: Steve Carell really naills dramatic parts…. This and The Big Short..
How come i missed this movie
Emma is so sick
I love Emma so much
How did this actually happen
Never knew billie played a man
I loved this movie
Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King were friends for a long long time.
Emma Stone somehow looks good in anything even if she's purposely trying not too
What is this thing point
I came here searching for game theory battle of sexes
Bobby Riggs lost in purpose. Its easy to see.
Thirty years after his prime, he lost . . . and made huge money by betting against himself . . . right after crushing Margaret freaking Court in her prime. For a more realistic matchup, check out Serena Williams. She bragged she could beat any man ranked outside of 200, and then promptly lost 6-1 to a dude ranked 203, Karsten Braasch, who started the matchup after a full round of golf and a couple of beers (ps: still waiting for that Hollywood movie!). American women are the world's biggest joke.
