SPOILER ALERT: Remove all the melo-dramatized blubbering and over-dramatized music while a whole lot of NOTHING is actually taking place… and you could shorten this thing to a 15 minute piece on how Dan is a Mormon in name only who wants his cult to embrace Sodom. OH and if you love "gay", you should buy Imagine Dragons music and go to their shows.

The part I enjoyed the most was about his relationship and marriage with Aja. But, OOPS… they're divorcing so that ruined that part, as well.

I just want to change the world, but I am just a teenager wanting to stop suicide attempts in the LGBTQ youth. I want parents to stop rejecting their children because they’re gay or trans. I want more acceptance. I mean, being gay only means same-sex attraction and being trans litterally means being born as the wrong gender. We have to stop this homophobic hate.

Yeah I just watched this and my face is still puffy from crying. His empathy and need to heal others obviously is what makes him a great artist. I grew up in the church and though I didn’t struggle with my sexuality, I had other struggles brought on by my faith which resulted in suicidal thoughts and pain that I could never even describe so I don’t even try. As an adult, the smoke cleared and I’ve completely changed and my heart and my mind are finally at peace. Very frequently I think about all of the countless young kids that are struggling at this very moment and torturing themselves mentally day in and day out because for one reason or another, they feel unforgivable or beyond their God’s love. I’m so glad that someone like Dan with such a wide outreach actually understands not only how painful the struggle is in these people’s hearts but how important it is that something changes. Bottom line, people need to feel like there is hope and unfortunately in the wrong circumstance, the church can foster a lot of hopelessness. I’m so glad he’s speaking out on this and that he’s fighting for change. It will be worth it if even one life is saved.

Courage to stand up and be heard. I was a former mormon and missionary. SO grateful to be seeing Dan and Imagin Dragons doing something….. standing up to the nonsense that is instilled into Mormon LDS youth. Allowing people to healthily question their dogma and feel accepted unconditionally.
