Danish/Finnish/Norwegian/Swedish production, Skarsgård as Berglin. Shows intensity and determination of Borg. Something everyone would have suspected, but a real Swede brings it to the silver screen. The opening title is simply 'BORG MCENROE'.

The intensity ! The acting ! The technique of continually returning to earlier life and how Bjorn , in particular, got there. TRULY SUPERB film….Having seen this wonderful film last night I NOW understand why Borg retired so young.
I won't spoil it as I do not know how much you know but let's just say that it would be inhuman to maintain that intensity for so long.
He was totally obsessed with the smallest detail and took 50 rackets to each game

Just a terrible, terrible, overly-dramatic dramatization that's complete fiction according to the people the film is supposed to be about. Bad stuff.

Borg was my favorite tennis player of all time growing up from a kid in the 70's and seeing him play was perfection and in them days it was wooden rackets none of these highly advanced metal rackets we have to day even the tennis balls changed over time This film was a magical feast i loved it and not only did they had the right actor to play Borg but made it so believable even when he comes out with his famous red top on court every thing was just how i remembered it was even down to the end when winning the trophy outstanding film for a low budget film

Exactly the performance I expected from Shia, one of our current greats, but Sverrir really carried the movie as well. He perfectly portrayed Borg's icy yet childlike, fragile intensity. What a performance. One of my all-time favorite sports movies!
