That was actually a really good movie, particularly if you grew up in the 80s. Lots of double entendres, & I like the humor. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll say no more.

Why is Frank Grillo taking little digs at Marvel at different times in this movie? At one point he says "I can do this all day", which is what Captain America said in the movies, and also, Frank Grillo says "I've been waiting for this", which is exactly what he said in the Marvel Civil War movie when he played Crossbones and ambushed Captain America.

Marvel incompetently wasted his Crossbones character in their Civil War movie by getting his character totally wrong and making him suicidal and quick to give up the fight, which he absolutely was not in the comic books. In the comic books, Crossbones was a wisecracking, tough kickass machine, and acted exactly like Frank Grillo does in this Boss Level movie.

So did Frank Grillo help write this Boss Level movie or have some input with the dialogue, because there are so many justifiable digs at Marvel here? Maybe it's because Marvel totally bungled and fumbled the ball when it came to Frank Grillo as Crossbones, because that character could have been huge, Marvel's too busy being st*pid and phony woke to realize they just wasted an incredible character with potential yet again.

I saw this on Netflix and I liked it. It would be interesting to get the perspective of someone who has seen both the original version and the Hulu version
