Buffy the Vampire Slayer | #TBT Trailer | 20th Century FOX

The original theatrical trailer for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, written by Joss Whedon. Blonde, bouncy Buffy (Kristy Swanson) is your typical high school cheerleader– her goal is to “marry Christian Slater and die” and nothing gets in her way when it’s time to shop. But all that changes when a strange man (Donald Sutherland) informs her she’s been chosen by fate to kill vampires. With the help of a romantic rebel (Luke Perry), Buffy is soon spending school nights protecting L.A. from Lothos, the Vampire King (Rutger Hauer), his sidekick Lefty (Paul Ruebens) and their determined gang of bloodsuckers. It’s everything you’d expect from a teen queen in the Valley.

Sabrina the Teenage Witch also had a film version before the show many things were different. only actor to be in both was Melissa Joan Hart.

What's funny is the tv series has a much bigger following and is more popular, but anytime I make a video featuring the movie, Fox deletes it for copyright material. But I can make as many videos I want featuring the tv series.

You basically don't need to watch the film after watching this trailer. Personally I'm a fan of the film, while the show takes a much needed darker twist while still leaving room for humor. I love them both.

Did I just see Giles as a vampire? Wow! I grew up on the series never realizing there was a movie first. I confess of all the possibilities I didn't expect to see vampire Giles!

Honestly this trailer caught me, I know the show's a hit and I agree, but watching this trailer gave me a feeling that the movie is gonna be the mix of teen, comedy, and action, and it's from the 90's, a time where movies like this were the bombs
