Bully. Coward. Victim: The Story of Roy Cohn | Official Trailer | HBO

BULLY. COWARD. VICTIM. THE STORY OF ROY COHN takes an unflinching look at the life and death of infamous attorney Roy Cohn, who first gained prominence by prosecuting Julius and Ethel Rosenberg in what came to be known as the “atomic spies” case. Director Ivy Meeropol brings a unique perspective as the granddaughter of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg; having spent much of her life feeling both repelled and fascinated by the man who prosecuted her grandparents, obtained their convictions in federal court and then insisted on their executions. #HBO #BullyCowardVictim

No, the reason your grandparents were executed is because they gave nuclear secrets to the Soviet Union. Beyond any shadow of a doubt, they were guilty.

I had the privilege of attending a sold-out screening of this in Provincetown, MA. Directed by Ivy Meeropol, whose reputation as a filmmaker and storyteller has only continued to skyrocket since her 2004 award-winning film Heir To An Execution (a gut-wrenching and intimate account of the lives and deaths of her grandparents, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, both executed as spies in 1953) grabbed the world's attention and garnered praise for Ivy's capacity to explore something as personal and controversial as the execution of her own grandparents with the objectivity and curiosity one expects from serious journalism. It was fascinating to experience her latest film Bully. Coward. Victim. because not only has Meeropol once again helped us to examine a complex chapter in history, but she has reminded us that behind every character and at the core of every story, there is always a beating heart.

Was Roy Cohn really THAT bad ? I can see he was a very ruthless lawyer, yes, but is he any worse than any other ruthless lawyer? I think the hatred toward him goes a little overboard.

By only reading the comments and viewing the trailer, I know that I do not wish to see this movie. In the trailer for this film, the granddaughter of traitors to the USA, the Rosenbergs who were guilty as sin, already shows a great deal of bias. So be it!!! I suppose we should also feel sorry for Benedict Arnold as well.

The democtrats, especially the communist leaning democrats only attack with playground terms.
    "Bully" "Coward" "Victim"
    All terms of shame

I watched the documentary (for free) and found only half truths and outright lies. Typical propaganda.
One would be best served (if interested in Americans and communism) by watching –
    Cover up of Amerikants

Absolute gangster. Like Sidney Korshak, these were mob lawyers who knew where the bodies were buried. Every American should have some familiarity with Cohn, who he represented throughout his nefarious career and what he stood for — Machiavellian greed and power plays.
