The actors look different from what I imagined reading the book (I pictured Melissa with dark curly hair, and Bobbi as a blonde). Frances is just what I had in my mind though. Looking forward to it anyway!

Ohh Frances looks very different from how I pictured her in my head, where she looked more alternative/indie/interesting, with a cool fashion style, here she just looks plain. Has this happened to anyone else? Nick looks exactly how I thought he would, and his house too!

I love this adaptation the ending ofc is unsettling as always with sally rooney, it will definitely leave a mark on you. Hulu are good with this kind of stories like with normal people, it’s nice that this wasn’t pick up by Netflix, most book adaptation by Netflix are being butchered. They always try to make the protagonist hype and upbeat.

When I read the book, Nick and Frances just didn't doo it for me. I would say Frances even irritates me sometimes. But seeing them in real person somehow makes her seems softer and more vulnerable, like I can emphasize with her and forgive her flaws.
Definitely looking forward to watching it!

This is one of the most frustrating series I have encountered recently. Francis is so self involved and so annoying, I tried to watch it but I just physically can't. I read the book, the dialogues were poor just as they are in the series. If you want to watch something like Normal People, this is not even close.
