Dead Ringers – Teaser | Prime Video

A modern take on David Cronenberg’s 1988 thriller starring Jeremy Irons, Dead Ringers stars Rachel Weisz playing the double-lead roles of Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries of medical ethics—in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.

First time i saw Rachel Weisz was in 2002-03 in Mummy 1, i was 12, after that until today i haven’t spare any screen appearances of her. So if Rachel Weisz is in anything, count me in.

I used to have Amazon Prime until i found out how terribly they treat their employees. Especially their drivers. A multi billion dollar business that cant afford to keep their employees out of poverty or even give them basic benefits you'd get at any other job. That is absolutely pathetic. I wont support Amazon again until they stop acting like they're not worth billions. I've worked for small family owned businesses that pay double what Amazon pays with full benefits and several weeks pto every year and they aren't making anywhere close to the amount of profit that Amazon does. They could be setting the bar high and leading by example but apparently they like convincing people to work long hours and not even make enough money to get by. It's very common mindset amongst democrats and it has been going back over 100 years. Who can afford to work at Amazon? You'd have to already be rich to make that work but rich people would never do that job. They must be going for the dumb and extremely desperate which is not who i want delivering my packages. Amazon is trash.

I thought the original film was loosely based on a true story that made up what happened to these twins and was from their delusional perspective, but shifting the identies of such protagonists now makes me wonder if it was all fiction all along and I was being a moron to think there was even a grain of truth to the whole "doctor disappears after going crazy" narrative.
