I didn't play the game, but in contrary to what everybody is saying here, I started to hate the whole series after a few episodes. I absolutely love the art style, the scenery and overall it was a pretty solid story.
So maybe it's just because I have an emotional and impulsive character, but how can they literally make Mirana unlikeable to me?
Everything she ever did was being a bitch to Damian whenever he tried to be friendly or exhilarating, she wasn't honest to herself, her feelings nor did she care enough and most of all she denied the Invokers warnings/showings of what her goddess really is.
I mean yeah obviously it's a story and the characters may act like that, but why do they write her behaviour like that, when literally everybody in their right mind wouldn't make decisions as stupid as that bitchs and other weird characters decisions. Yeah it wouldn't be a story without all that, but why sacrifice all reasoning and make the show unlikeable to some? I'm sure you could write an just as interesting script with the whole plot moving in logical/not unlikeable bitchy behavior borders..I don't understand..We don't need empowered selfish feminist bitches especially not in drawn animes, it's worse enough with how it is in real life, what we need is a simple nice story having it's scale frames set at the right position and for gods sake making some sense. Not every story is good just because it's fictional and not every story is perfect, but at least find a reasonable good middle..
