After "End of Evangelion" I wanted to watch other Evangelion movies. But I was scared, becasue EoE is masterpiece for me, and I've heard that other movies likes to concentrate on Asuka, and are more action oriented.

Eva has accompanied me throughout my youth, this trailer makes me so nostalgic. I csn still remember watching the anime and not understanding anything but feeling like something was stirring within me. Now, watching it all end and coming back to the promise of that ending, it really feels like I closed a chapter in my life.

So I watched this film earlier today, and wow. What a masterwork of cinema. The ending left me on the verge of tears, because it was truly the ending we deserved.

Thank you Hideaki Anno, for truly creating one of the greatest franchises, with a beautiful work of art like this film, and for a truly great tetralogy like the Rebuilds.

i absolutely loved this movie, it's like the antithesis of end of evangelion, it's like the dicotomy of eva, one ends in a meltdown of total despair and the other feels like in 20 years from the original ending, shinji has finally learned how to cope with it all, accept how bad things can get, and accept himself with and all his flaws and move on.

feels like the good and bad ending of the same story and both are phenomenal.
