don't know how people actually found this movie any good. I went to see it because of all the good reviews here on YouTube, but first time they get it wrong.
the worst movie I have seen, maybe there trying to hypnotized the audience with all the light flashing constantly in your face. but left the theater feeling nauseous .

The Part 1 in this movie is basically just meme all over the place. For those who have not yet watch this movie, be prepared. This movie will not have mercy in making you laugh until the end. Probably one of the best action-comedy i've seen so far. When i watch this movie in cinema, all people were laughing and throw up all over the place.

i went to see this film yesterday. i love michelle yeoh. i've been a huge fan of her since the days when her and jackie chan ruled the martial arts genre. but i gotta say, the film as a whole was a train wreck after the first 30-minutes. it starts out with a good premise and moves along well. it even transitions into a semi-Matrix sort of backstory.

but then it goes into over 2-hours of directionless fast-edits, which should have been maybe a 5-minute scene or at least paused long enough to tell more of a story.

the film lacked proper editing. at 2 hours, 20 minutes so much of it was just fluff and filler. which is a shame because by the time you get to the end and the 'point' of the film.. you're exhausted from all the fast edits. presuming you haven't gone into a seizure by then. i'm no stranger to indie films or ecclectic stories. but even 'eraserhead' delivered a better presentation.

but it was a good opportunity for Michelle to show that she is much more than an action-actress. her work in "crazy rich asians" did a much better job showcasing her acting talent.

10 being best.. i'd have to give the film a marginal '2'.
