I can't believe how bad this season is, the over directed fake feel, the amount of broadcast footage, the manipulation with quotes being misplaced wayyy to much, the timeline, the audio etc etc. I can go on for hours. What an amazing F1 season it was, it's like you were purposely trying to make it worse.

Two things I have taken from this season so far:
    1. Ricciardo is kinda a jealous baby
    2. Mazepin is a delusional driver who would have never been in F1 if it wasn't for daddy's money

This was one of the most exciting seasons in recent history, IMO. Yet, this season’s “drive to survive” showed only brief clips of those moments. Instead, chose to embellish drama between the racing teams and drivers. But why? What demographic are they reaching for with the show? Because this season didn’t strike me, as a Formula1 fan.

I’m an a BBC Editor, and even I could see gaping holes in the in Drive to survive, they seem to towing the lines of F1 & the FIA there nothing to see here, there’s was strong dialogue commentary missing from the some of the episode even the last one was manipulated so show F1 and the FIA in a good light, Drive to survive betrayed the fans and offered up a race race ending that never took place from the live televised event, the meat of the 2021 season is the controversial race manipulation that took place the world was shocked to the core to see such blatant disregard to the rules of fairness anyone would think Vladimir Putin was writing the playbook for F1 and the FIA , I won’t waste my time to watch the next season of Drive to survive if presenting fake news and distorting the facts, this would of been a RTS Award winning documentary if only the powers that be didn’t interfere with the edit ,,, and to the EDITORS and producers please keep a copy of the original cut that showed the shit hitting the fan and when it comes to your retirement uploads your masterpiece for the world …. Congratulations otherwise the story lines Was wonderful except for the Best controversial bits you had to show in OOV …. it’s a shame it would of been your best work ever… SHAME NETFLIX !!

this series is looking more and more inane as it goes -rich people spending hundreds of millions trying to see who can get around a donut fastest – while Russia bombs Ukraine.

I reall cannot stand watching this series anymore. 1st season looked liked a novel approach to F1 coverage, but if you watch closely, all you get is race footage intermittent with STUPID AND EMPTY comments from team managers and drivers, "we are here to win", "second is no option" (no shit Sherlock), "the strategy is really simple actually, you have to get to the finish line faster". Yeah right, only this is called an objective and not a strategy. No technical analysis, no post race analysis, no nothing. This series is for ppl who have no clue about motor racing. Not going to watch past episode 1, sorry Netflix.

epic = disingenuine video editing, spliced together with new 'race commentary' added
See if you can spot Will Buxton's voice that threads their narrative.

Personally I like Gunther and Antti the most. What good is winning if you lack character?

Hamilton has character, unfortunately he sold out. If his views are authentic, he’s ignorant. Still a good person.

I enjoy the series, but I seriously wish that Netflix showrunners would focus more on the technical aspect of F1 since it has arguably such advance technology packed in the vehicles, it's a total waste to gloss over it and focus primarily on drivers' personality alone. I'm so done about personal drama.
