I just finished HIS HOUSE and started watching WEST SIDE STORY.

We are also an immigrant family and even after 3 decades we are still 'guests'.
My parents wanted to go back after saving up enough money, but they finally understood that they no longer belong to their former 'home'.
None of us belong anywhere, family is the only place that is truly ours.

Reality truly hit when I left university and started my own life.
Other immigrant kids and I existed in a warm little bubble inside the education system.
We were decent and hard working kids, we were the exceptional kind.
Our parents were worker bees and slaves, so that we could live better lifes – hold our heads up high and keep our hands clean.

This movie made my blood boil because of the way the couple was treated so badly. It’s sad because this happens every day to people in real life. They are already living a horror movie as is just trying to fit in with society

It's been along time since a movie made me cry but this did, near the end when their in the water… The STRUGGLE TRUE REFUGEES go through! Not the thousands of Asian men. But the woman and children of all nations and the men that are with them. It made my heart hurt what these people go through!:(

This was a fantastic movie. I was spaced out the first time I watched it and only paid half attention. But it stayed with me, kind of perturbed me in a very deep way I couldnt shake. I came back and watched it a second time. It frightened me, made me cry, and made me think. I've now decided it is a brilliant movie and is in my top 10.

I'm not understanding why this movie got such good reviews. It was literally so bad. Boring, not interesting, confusing, not scary…

This movie earned the title of the worst movie I've ever seen. The Slender Man movie from 2018 was better than this garbage.
