1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Galatians

11:12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. 2 Corinthians

To all unknown to this Masterpiece,
This is the Best Thing HBO ever produced.

Mike Nichols said this one is his Magnum Plus and the Best Film he ever Directed.

Tony Kushner created a Tender and Sincere portrayal of Life, Love, Relations, Death and Redemption.

Thomas Newman's Score is Chilling, Melancholic and Heartbreaking & It stays with you through the end.

    And the Performances…
Al Pacino's Portrayal of Ray Cohn is a Mesmerizing transition of a Ruthless Lawyer to a Tragic Man at the end of his life.
Patrick Wilson as Joe Pitt is Trying to find his identity between a Loveless Marriage and a Forbidden Affair.
Jeffrey Wright is Calm and Comforting as Belize & Cool and Crazy as Mr. Lies.
Meryl Streep portrayed a Religious Mother Hannah Pitt, trying to accept his son's sexuality and Ethel Rosenberg, a memory of someone's past.
Emma Thompson's The Angel and Nurse Emily builds a bridge between Heavenly Destiny and an Earthly Life.
Ben Shenkman's Louis Ironson is Struggling to accept Love in face of Death.
Mary-Louise Parker's portrayal of a housewife Harper Pitt, dreaming of letting go of her Loveless Marriage to set herself free is Beautiful.
And Justin Kirk as the Tragic figure struggling with AIDS, his Boyfriend's Betrayal and a Destiny he doesn't want is really the Standout.

Angels in America is story of Finding Love, Seeking Life and Accepting Destiny.

I remember buying the series for $50 in Barnes & Noble when I was 13. After watching it on HBO and then seeing them rightfully clean up at the Emmys, I had to have it. Plus the golden packaging was so nice. Many years later, I ended up buying the miniseries on sale on iTunes. They've since removed the soundtrack from iTunes. A shame since it is some of Thomas Newman's best work. Glad I purchased my favorite tracks when it was available. Everything about this adaptation remains fantastic. I love sharing it with others. RIP Mike Nichols.

Look up and see the universe as I have seen. An experience of forgiveness and amazing adventure. Micheal is a very interesting angel that tends to call you. Not the other way around.
