I can't remember the name of the manga, but there is one from the 90s with the same idea.
Like the ending of KNOWING, the human species gets a second chance with one new pair of Eva and Adam.
This time, machines give birth to them and they are raised by AI.

The idea reminded me of KARL MARX's concept of a 'Kommunistisches Endreich'.
A world without the psychotic horsesh*t people call religion, a world without borders and discrimination.
A world that respects the rights and needs of all sentient living beings, not only those of human beings.

We all lose our 'victim card' the second we become perpetrators ourselves.
When the only way you can live comfortably and happy is when another living being has to suffer for it … yeah, then you don't deserve to be alive in the first place.

Dumb humans. We are the problem. Always have been, always will be. I was hoping for a different ending. Th AI was dumb too, provavly because it was created by dumb humans. If it didnt want to be "alone" it should have made more vatiavles of itself, not humans. Humans will inevitably always end up being cancerous. Or it should have put the humans in a big dome on the moon and watched the show from a beautiful Earth.
