I like this show but I feel like Pete is deliberately dumbing down his material to be relatable. Because in reality everything I've seen of his has been fantastic, other than his standup in this show. I really hope his character arch involves a huge upgrade to his bit, because he really has some good stuff.
Next season you should cast neil casey for a role, he's my favorite comedy actor.
