This movie should have been completely different and should have ended with earth being defeated and annihilated and only some people living on there hiding and being exiled by a alien order , and the third part to be the group of people ( jeff etc etc) finding a ship of some kind to fly into a black hole leading them into the alien planet in which the humans were enslaved , freeing them and capturing alien technology to go back on earth and defeat the aliens in an epic fight . The fourth one should go as they returning with major technology and alien captives into the alien world and kill them all once and for all.

Sad that it didn't perform like the first this is usualy what happens when you let it go for too long and clearly you can't even complain about not having Will Smith on it we all saw how horrible Bad Boys 3 was , hope they don't take so long to make number 3 and recover what was lost on number 2.

When I was 18 as a young male adult my adult neighbor took me to see Independence Day Double Feature at AMC Century City 15 Theaters in Los Angeles at 5:00AM beginning with Independence Day 20th Anniversary and I really enjoyed seeing Independence Day 20th Anniversary a lot for about 2 hours 30 minutes at AMC Century City 15 Theaters in Los Angeles and is one of my all-time favorite films when I was an adult but when we saw Independence Day Resurgence in 3D at the same auditorium we saw Independence Day 20th Anniversary at AMC Century City 15 Theaters in Los Angeles not only I did not like that film so much and is one of the worst film sequels ever made but it was a huge critical & box office flop and is also one of Roland Emmerich’s worst films since Godzilla & 10,000 BC (both were global box office successes and got very terrible reviews from critics audiences and fans alike) Roland Emmerich wrote produced and directed another fantasy/science fiction disaster action/adventure film That is Extremely Similar to and is a Rip-Off of Both Deep Impact & Armageddon) called Moonfall which was also one of Roland Emmerich’s worst films that got very bad reviews from critics audiences and fans

The best part of this movie was the 90 second opening scene with the mothership getting the distress call. Everything after went downhill.

Oof "it's touched down over the Atlantic"
    "Which part"
    "ALL OF IT"
I don't care if you hated the movie. That line in the trailer alone gave me chills. Can you imagine hearing that? The horror and fear?
