About Carnival Row:
Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne star in Carnival Row, a Victorian fantasy world filled with mythological immigrant creatures. Feared by humans, they are forbidden to live, love, or fly with freedom. But even in darkness, hope lives, as a human detective and a faerie rekindle a dangerous affair. The city’s uneasy peace collapses when a string of murders reveals a monster no one could imagine.

Loved the Irish Lore, of the Tuatha De Danaan of Tir Na Nog, the Elvish culture, the Labyrinth movie creatures, the three kingdoms lore of the norse, and even asian ancients – but the obvious political to modern day issues of immigrants to any land including interment are blantant dems vs repubs and the fear of Trumps policies playing out. the victorian window dress of 7th century script written more for a video game. but I as a nerd await breathlessly for season 2 -as I binged season 1
