I don’t get how she could have said those things about Shy. Especially in those days where that closet door had a good lock on it. And after helping him…? It was a betrayal big time. Glad she got that apartment back missed it. Not signing the contract? After the first couple seasons you would think she and Susie would be more professional. So how much did Susie steal? I hope season 4 is more about them getting back on their feet. I know the critics want her to suffer because they feel the character is too insulated. Well I kind of like that. Why does everything have to have depressing insight? I love Midge who has a good heart and fun in her outlook

The 1st and 2/3rds of the 2nd season were so great
But the last leg of the 2nd and the 3rd are so…bizarrely off putting and miserable for every character that they threw me off of the series
…the moment she had Benjamin absolutely in love with her and waiting a marriage answer yet had the gall of sleeping with Joel by saying she was"all alone" was the point I just absolutely cringed, onwards from there it just went downhill…

I'm getting annoyed with the pattern when interesting and nice characters just disappear from screen after being hurt by Midge without any closure. We never found out whether she was forgiven by Mary, Ben leaves thinking she was sending her mother to him and she doesn't insist that is not true for some reason. And now Reggie just shifts all the blame for his not so useful advice on her and we might never see Shy and him (who was actually great character) again. Shouldn't she have learnt some lessons by now?
