I thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes. Although it should be classified as psychological science fiction. It was one of the most thought provoking sci fi’s I’ve seen since 2001 a Space odyssey. I’m tired of all the over blown special effects and ridiculous hero villain narratives. This gets two thumbs up for originality.

This is AMC's version of Expanse. Instead of conflict between Belters and Martians, this one is a conflict between kumbaya singin' hippies from the Moon and Earthers. They even copied the casting choice for an Earth leader. They also employed a subculture language (e.g. Belter lawda) except the Mooner's subculture language is cringey AF. It is very reminiscent of Expanse because of the conflicts between Earth and moon colony. The show itself is very slow, loads of scenes that should have been cut. I like the concept but the execution is terrible.

It's another wokee show. The writing seemed somewhat interesting but casting, directing and producing lumps it in with all the other crappy sci-fi shows coming out these days.

This looks awful. The VFX appear as if they were rendered on my old Windows 95 PC. The dialogue comes across as first-draft, anachronistic and lowbrow, even among the supposedly highly educated characters. And they seem to ignore any basic scientific principles that are inconvenient to the story. I would have much preferred to see SyFy's 2014 pilot HIgh Moon picked up to series. It was more original, would age better and had a pleasantly bizarre vibe to it, like something Philip José Farmer might have written.
