Munich – The Edge of War | Official Trailer | Netflix

Based on the international bestseller by Robert Harris. It is Autumn 1938 and Europe stands on the brink of war. Adolf Hitler is preparing to invade Czechoslovakia and Neville Chamberlain’s government desperately seeks a peaceful solution. With the pressure building, Hugh Legat, British civil servant, and Paul von Hartmann, German diplomat, travel to Munich for the emergency Conference. As negotiations begin, the two old friends find themselves at the centre of a web of political subterfuge and very real danger. With the whole world watching, can war be averted and, if so, at what cost?

In select theatres in the United States in December and on Netflix January 21.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. There is no other intermediary. May Jesus Bless you, trust Him, give your life – and He will take care of it :pray Convert yourself and believe in the Gospel. Romans 10 8-10: But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”[a] that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

germany against the czechs would've suffered like italy did with greece.
Terrain, forts but they also had equal and in some cases better equipment to the germans. Stalemate would've been very likely until the allies mobilised and joined the war.

In WWI he was ordered to deliver a document, in WWIII he’s tasked with delivering another document.
I guarantee that he’ll soon be taking another document from the Soviet Union to the West.

What worries me is that many viewers will actually believe this is a true story, down to the finer details. Yes, an agreement was signed, but no, Chamberlain wasn’t given secret documents warning him of Hitler’s master plan

The peace between Britain and Germany lasted only a year and under heavy criticism Chamberlain resigns and enters Churchill , Munich document gave Allies the warning shot

Mackay and Niewöhner are great in this movie, I will watch it again for sure. Also, Jeremy Irons makes one of the best depictions of Chamberlain that I’ve ever seen.

Decent film, but at the end they credit Chamberlain with 'giving England a year to prepare for war and the inevitable defeat of Germany. Really? That's the lesson? The Czech's had mountains and better tanks than the Germans (the T-38 and the Hetzer). If countries had come to their aid, the Czechs likely could have defeated the Germans or at least put up enough of a fight (like the Finns and now the Ukranians vs. the Russians) that the rest of WW2 could have been avoided! Sorry….there's no excuse for giving tyrants what they want….they won't stop wanting more. Ditto for anyone thinking Xi will just stop with Taiwan!
