One of the best series I've watched in my life.. season 1 knocked the air out of my lungs so hard , that I could not wait for season 2. So underrated… yet I want to keep it that way, as I feel like this series is meant just for me.

I am able to understand a bit Italian, because of my Latin knowledge. But I couldn't understand the conversations in this beautiful series. Is it in a dialect spoken in Napoli?

With the delayed production courtesy of Covid, I bought books 3 and 4 as I couldn't wait to see what happens. "Those Who Leave And Those Who Stay," was great and I am halfway through The Story Of The Lost Child which is even better.

I’m from Ischia, the island where many scenes have been played and, for some weeks, it was like living back in time thanks to the amazing and ACCURATE job they did among the streets, pubs, bars, beaches. I’m definitely gonna miss my tiny island on the big screen.

I love this show I just wish that things worked out better for Lila. She's my favorite character and I hate that she could be doing great things but because of circumstances she can't and she knows it. I can't wait for season 3.

I think it is a very special friendship because they are the opposite. I can understand Lenu more because i am more like her. But if i were her i couldnt be friends with Lila because she is so draining and mean at times. And i know it is because her life has been horrible but it would make me want to step away from that world and never come back. I think Lenu idolises Lila and that is why she thinks so highly of her. Lila has always been the smartest and the prettiest one and if Lenu hadnt studied she wouldn't have become like Lila. And Lila is jealous of Lenu as well. But they put it aside because despite everything their friendship is more important and that's why it's an amazing series.

Great series, very talented cast. Lila is one of the most interesting female characters ever written. It was amazing how the 2 actresses that play Lila really felt like the same person. You rarely experience that in a movie or tv series. I cannot wait for season 4.
