Watch this show with my 12 year old niece Serenity and now I'm hooked!!! A great high school coming of age dramedy. My niece calls me Kamala and her mother is Melanie and the grandmother is my mom…lol
So many relatable characters. I hope awards shows catch on how great this show is. Ben and Devis banter is classic Sam and Diane from Cheers. The supporting cast is great too. Trent is the classic brainless stoner with wise cracks galore. Ramona is that theater geek we all knew in school who is almost as annoying as Lea Michele in Glee. But Ramona has better acting chops and comedic skills the show tries to utilize. Her faces she makes are priceless. And Ben is Richie Rich..the poor little rich boy who is sarcastic and condescending but is really the sweetest guy and he's just lonely. The actor who portrays him has amazing chemistry with Devi. I believe they are rivals/soulmates. The mother is a little too strict and the grandmother is a laugh riot. I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!?
