Loved this movie as a younger kid, but I have more appreciation for the story now as a high school graduate who had his own encounter with a Margo. Was hung up on that girl ever since i met her, and like them, we drifted apart. Now im off to college to meet someone new just like Quentin

Remember reading the book, never watched the movie except for some scenes yet I feel so nostalgic. I want to go back to the person I was and read it all over again for the first time. I want to go back and actually live.. nostalgia is such a crazy and hurtful thing.

It's the last romantic movie that i enjoyed. Then i lost faith in Romance. Probably for forever. The unpopular boy – The most popular girl of the school – Childhood friends – Hidden crush – sudden opportunity to approach her. All elements were present in this movie to make a big impact on my teen mind.
The ending was very heart breaking for me. But i thank flimmakers and the writter for this ending. After living life for nearly 8 years after this movie, i am very much certain that the relationship and the burning romance between boy and girl as depected in most Hollywood movie is not true or very very rare. Most of the relationships are toxic or going to become toxic. They don't last. Most of the time you have to live alone. One can say that you haven't met the right person yet.
But i am happy. And i don't need someone special to find that happiness. At the end of the movie Q realised that the Margo he loved never existed in real, it existed in his mind only. And he had many other things to care about other than margo. Same way the Romance we seek may be the creation of Our mind and may not find in reality.

I will never forget this movie from my memory as it reminds me of my old self who believed in Romance.
