About A League of Their Own: In 1943, Carson Shaw travels to Chicago to try out for the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. There, she meets other women who also dream of playing pro baseball and makes connections that open up her world. Rockford local Max Chapman also comes to the tryouts but is turned away. I wonder if they took this play from what a college team did for softball
I like how they make the pitchers seem like they are throwing high heat, but then cornball the fielding.
I also enjoy how they rip actual real events, cheese it up, and think they did wrote something profound. Amazon writers are terrible, they didn’t even capture the honest emotions. They just zoomed in, cut, added unnecessary dialogue, basically every thing you could do to ruin a sports feel good moment.
