Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, “Prey” is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.

“Prey” stars Amber Midthunder (“The Ice Road,” “Roswell, New Mexico”), newcomer Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp (“Sooyii”), Michelle Thrush (“The Journey Home”), Julian Black Antelope (“Tribal”), and Dane DiLiegro (“American Horror Stories”) as the Predator. The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and written by Patrick Aison (“Jack Ryan,” “Treadstone”), with a story by Patrick Aison & Dan Trachtenberg based on characters created by Jim Thomas & John Thomas. It is produced by John Davis (“Jungle Cruise,” “Predator”), Jhane Myers (“Monsters of God”), and Marty Ewing (“It: Chapter Two”), with Lawrence Gordon (“Watchmen”), Ben Rosenblatt (“Snowpiercer”), James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Marc Toberoff (“Fantasy Island”) serving as executive producers.

    Przewidywalne jak flaki z olejem. Efekty fajne, nic nowego jedynie zmiana scenerii – coś ala assasins creed, co chwile w innej epoce… jedynie nawiązanie pistoletu z 1715 roku, który pojawia się w końcówce Predatora 2 z Danym Gloverem jest ciekawe. Bardzo mnie interesuje jak znalazł się w posiadaniu Predatorów, skoro dziewczyna na końcu filmu miała go w posiadaniu.

    This was such a good movie. Old school style Predator, and doing what he's supposed to do. Not the woke cr@p of playing with barbies coming out of the closet or liking same Predator gender roobiish which is all what we see now a days in tv shows and movies

    I love how modern this indians are, especially the girl with full, very well done makeup. All these movies these days, for youngsters, are absolutely not comparable to old, good stuff. Sad that they completely dropped the quality to such a minimum level.

    Old movies like 80/90 was too good.
    Nowadays there are just a fake material and extra editing think happen,
    There are no any story which bind you with further scenes.

    Where are Arnold,Nicolas case, brade Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio etc

    As far as the historical timeline this is another Hollywood dumpster fire. First the Comanche are a southern plains tribe and this story clearly takes place on the northern plains. The tribe in this area would more likely be the Crow Indians.The buffalo slaughter depicted did not happen till the 1870's. French traders did not reach this part of the northern plains till 1750's and they came as traders bartering for the skins the natives "trapped". The French Traders depended on the natives for furs and would have been cultivating good relations with the tribes. As a Sci Fi fantasy I get that they can write it the way they want, but come on get it a little closer to historical than this.

    Las elecciones cinematográficas y artísticas son brillantes. Referencias culturales europeas realmente interesantes. Ojalá la cultura europea se representara más a menudo tan bellamente. No puedo dejar de decir "oh, esto es hermoso" a lo largo del video. Luz, en serio… el que se encargue de la iluminación, genial efff
