Watching this is like a throwback to when i was in elementary school being the only one without phone and social media because my parents are pretty strict. Ofc i wasnt treated as bad but it made me feel left out sometimes

This movie is underrated, its much better than encanto and lightyears in storytelling, and world buildings (immersion of city he live with not actual looks of the city. Graphics similar to minions/despicable me quality). The story is simple, this robot that selling like hotcakes for kids that also function like smartphones chose to be sentient bcs its disconnected from internet. And how social media corporations works, hoax vs truth, fame clout and kids that tried to be famous in social media and power of cancellation portrayed good here. I rather see this one on theatre than lightyears lol. Lightyears seems better to be a episodic format to tell better story and characters since it tackled what should be a complex story but too fast paced to make things make sense…
