So its a girl with power, struggling to find her innerself and when she finds that then she bring all her powers and wipe the evil from the universe… Pretty much every powerful girls narrative we have seen thus far.

Another show with actors with soft round faces, probably never done any rough housing or physical labour in their lives, and we're supposed to believe they can fit into the roles of heroes in a fantasy adventure?

For reference, look at movies from the 2000s, and you'll find them to be more believable and emotionally immersive. This show only redeems itself with its soundtrack and CGI.

im in the middle of the crooked kingdom, i have read shadow and bone but have not watched the series yet, watching this trailer i was a bit disappointed that I didn't really see Wylan nor that much of Nina and Matthias. Does anyone know if at some point there will be episodes/seasons where there will be Wylan in it?

it started off ok but then completely ruined by the fact that EVERY SINGLE encounter with a random couple whom have just met end up in some form of corny romance or sex.
normally there's a few in shows but season 1 was every single random couple. They went overboard and it made it corny, cheesy, cringey.
I also found Alina bland as a main character. I think Nina or Genya would have much better in her place.

i would have liked this series a lot more if it was only based of off six of crows. i tried reading grisha, but it was just boring and i couldnt get into it. idk why they had to make one series out of two different books.
