Following the bloody escape from the House of Batiatus, the gladiator rebellion descends upon the Roman Republic. Gaius Claudius Glaber and his troops are tasked with crushing the rebels, and Spartacus must choose between avenging the death of his wife and making sacrifices that will keep his army together. Containing all the blood-soaked action, exotic sexuality, villainy and heroism that distinguishes the series, “Spartacus: Vengeance” resumes the story in epic fashion.

No, Gods of the Arena is a spoiler for the end of Blood and Sand. In the first episode and in the last one, you can see a flash of scenes about the ending of Blood and Sand. So, the best way to watch the series is the same way it was presented: 1st Blood and Sand, 2nd Gods of the Arena, 3rd Vengeance, 4th War of the Damned.

Gods of the Arena spoils the end of Blood and Sand, it is not a good idea to watch it chronologically, it is better to watch it the way it was aired, to avoid spoilers.

For those looking for a really fun horror show to watch, give Ash VS Evil Dead a shot. The first two seasons are up on Netflix and season 3 is currently airing on Starz. It's one of the goriest and most original horror/comedy shows I've ever seen! It has Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Lee Majors, etc.
