Oh whoa! I was no more than a wet behind the ears pup when I started watching Star Trek, way back in the late 1960's. I am awed by this film. I am thrilled to be able to go back in time and re-experience youth – in all it's terrible glory.

Don't post it for people to read if you want us to ignore it. Not everyone who reads it will like it. And I'm talking about the movie making process, not the events of the movie. Figured that was obvious. Guess not.

Your response was so epic, that I had to humor my intimate skills with onomatopoeia, and that was the only way in which I could add to your awesomeness, so thank you. 🙂 BOOM!

No, but if you don't want differing opinions, keep yours to yourself. What's wrong with the storytelling? Nothing. It's good. People make mistakes, there are bad people, good people, mostly people who have a bit of both. Every character has flaws and a good side, or good intentions. I'm talking about the movie making process. All I'm seeing from you is that you're bringing up something else.

And if you don't want people who dislike your opinion commenting, don't post it. I respect the right of people to have different opinions, and I thought maybe we could have a respectful debate. You ruined that. Originality doesn't exist anymore. Besides that, It is supposed to be parallel to the original movies, so obviously there are going to be similarities. Name a "big lapse" or "strange choice." And if character flaws are banter, why did you bring them up?

You brought up the character flaws, which are crucial to the movie, while I was talking about something completely different. The resurrection of Khan was what the whole movie was about; without it, the movie would exist. That's the point of the movie. Benedict Cumberbatch played Khan exquisitely, so I really don't see why you're complaining. And you were not being respectful. You became defensive. And I'm not commenting to please you, so why should I ignore your comment?

And the sky does not produce rain. It's the water vapor in the air condensing so much that it can't stay in the air anymore. Rain doesn't magically come out of the sky

These new generation star trek films do not age well. But of the bunch. This one has stuck in my mind. It could be the aura of the actors all seemingly wanting to smile everytime they say kurk or spock. Its not organic what so ever.
