The Boys season 2 superhero whale scene. Streaming now on Prime Video.

About The Boys:
The Boys is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven”, and their formidable Vought backing.

About Season 2:
In a more intense, more desperate Season 2 of THE BOYS, Butcher, Hughie and the team reel from their losses in Season 1. On the run from the law, they struggle to fight back against the Superheroes. As Vought, the company that manages the heroes, cashes in on the panic over the threat of Supervillains, and a new hero, Stormfront, shakes up the company and challenges an already unstable Homelander.

Only one whale was killed in the production of this show!! I only wish it was a sperm whale. At least they could have farmed some good spermaceti for oil lamps. That oil gives off white light just like a light bulb. It was so good that it changed mankind's sleeping habits. I still have a little that my grandfather left me.`

This show has a handful of high budget cgi moments like this where something over the top happens JUST so they can post a clip of it on youtube and use it for trailers. They’re not well-written, just random. Between those moments it can get pretty boring and predictable. It’s definitely not great, but it’s enjoyable once you get past the hypocritical preachy messages about politics, which are more predictable than the dialogue and plot

Didn't really care for the beginning of Season 2..
Its like after the end of Season One they started Season 2 off by turning Hughie in to a giant whiny pu**y b*tch. It was pretty lame and annoying.
He was much cooler in Season 1
