ABOUT THE HANDMAID’S TALE
Adapted from the classic novel by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid’s Tale is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly the United States. Facing environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, Gilead is ruled by a twisted fundamentalism in its militarized ‘return to traditional values’. As one of the few remaining fertile women, Offred (Elisabeth Moss) is a Handmaid in the Commander’s household, one of the caste of women forced into sexual servitude as a last desperate attempt to repopulate the world. In this terrifying society, Offred must navigate between Commanders, their cruel Wives, domestic Marthas, and her fellow Handmaids – where anyone could be a spy for Gilead – all with one goal: to survive and find the daughter that was taken from her.

I just started watching this show and it's giving me some much aniexty and anger! Now, these folks are using God's Word as a evil weapon to control others. It's so wicked and hypercritical and that lady Aunt Lydia, she makes wanna change my name.

Those ladies need to band together to form a army. I heard this one quote, which I Love, "Women are like tea bags, you don't know Strength, until they get into hot water"!

Jesus I tell you one thing, it’s a brilliant show. But…..extremely difficult to get through watching. I’m half way through season 2. I literally wanna machine gun down all those religious fuckheads down, over and over and over again. I can only watch 2 episodes at a time because I feel so much seeing all the pain she’s ( and all those women, and men) going through all that pain. It’s tough.

Crazy shenanigans similar to the Handmaid's Tale really happen in real life, but never in countries where White people are in charge. Just study what goes on in Africa, East Asia, and the Middle East, and you'll find real-life similarities.

Parties and individuals relying on perpetually keeping me in this position might want to re-examine their approach. The approach makes me pity the leaders who needed to rely so heavily on it. Forward.

Here we are with the leaked SCOTUS ruling on Roe v. Wade. Everything we feared would happen with the three Radical judges that Mango Mussolini got to appoint. We are standing on the precipice of "Blessed be the fruit."

Okay, so I was binged watching stranger things season 4 volume 1 and while waiting for volume 2, I tried to look for other series to watch while waiting for stranger things to come out. Law and behold I stumbled upon this gem. This series is so well-written. The lines and scenes are so iconic.

I stopped watching at season 2 episode 8 to watch the remaining episodes of stranger things but handmaid's tale made stranger things feels like a Disney series. I felt like I was watching some bunch of teenagers doing roleplays lol. It doesn't feel the same anymore.
I'm glad that stranger things vol 2 has only 2 remaining episodes so I can go back again watching the rest of handmaid.

I have recently started to watch The Handmaids Tale and it is such an awesome show . I really feel the anger and pain for the victims how they are being treated and i know it is just a show but the Gilead makes me mad and i hope they get what they deserve . Serena and Fred Waterford are sadistic psychopaths .

Elisabeth Moss is an amazing actress and she rocks in this show .
