The Nevers: Official Trailer | HBO

A touch of power can change the world. Experience the new HBO original series, The Nevers, streaming April 11 on HBO Max.

In the Nevers, Victorian London is rocked to its foundations by a supernatural event that gives certain people — mostly women — abnormal abilities, from the wondrous to the disturbing. But no matter their particular “turns,” all who belong to this new underclass are in grave danger. It falls to mysterious, quick-fisted widow Amalia True (Laura Donnelly) and brilliant young inventor Penance Adair (Ann Skelly) to protect and shelter these gifted “orphans.” To do so, they will have to face the brutal forces determined to annihilate their kind. #HBO #TheNevers Subscribe to HBO on YouTube: https://goo.gl/wtFYd7

Bought the dvd cause I don't watch tv. Seen it three times already. Amazing! Best show since Buffy tvs. But you (read 'I') have to watch it more than once to really understand what's happening.
In the opinion of the apes, the first humans were disabled; they only had two hands… Buy the dvd's!!! Have fun!!

Hoping the next (half)season follows soon! Just one giant flaw it has, and that's the giant girl. [My] depth perception is achieved mostly by the size of the actors. Because buildings can be huge and small, just like trees, etc. So having a little girl act as if she's a giant, destroys (my) depth perception. And is August in a close up ment to be seen as a giant or not? It confuses me again and again. Also, the giant girl should weigh about 600 kilo, and have a very low voice, but she doesn't. I would cure her as soon as possible, Joss! Turn her into the cute girl she really is please.
Am I the only one bothered by this?

Misfits, the 2009 TV series is the modern version of this. People doing community service get caught in a weird storm and gain these supernatural powers. Just in case anyone is interested in checking it out.

    It needs joss whedon.
as soon the next 6 episodes are out we are in for the "what is this?" due to its difficult to do unique greatness like joss can do.
we are going to see common american writing that ruins this with the next 6 episodes.
    Prove me wrong HBO

Do you read Brandon Sanderson books? Watch this. Just finished it last night and… wow. It's the best time I've had in years. Fascinating story, writing is excellent, actors deliver convincingly, and the lead ladies are likable and compelling. There's so much to love. Episode 6 is where it gets into Sanderson-fantasy/sci-fi epic mode. Don't miss this!
