In the 1970s, merciless killer Charles Sobhraj preys on travelers exploring the “hippie trail” of South Asia. Based on shocking true events.
Meanwhile Charles Shobhraj in prison: I wonder when they are sending me the poster
Could they not have found a Quebecoise, or at least a woman who CAN speak French and do a Quebecois accent, to play the role of Marie-Andre? Jenna Coleman's accent and poor French was such a distraction in the whole series. Also, why even make her talk French so much while the other French characters are just talking English (but with a French accent)? I read she learned French for this role, but her pronunciation 100% still sounds like an English girl. Sorry, but it isn't enough for this role to understand French- she was supposed to BE Quebecoise. Tahar Rahim was great as always!
Music : Johnny Hallyday : le pénitencier
The bikini killer is still in the prison of nepallll?????
Really shame on those Thai police who only care about themselves. They worried if they have this case it’ll impact their country tourism
He was caught in o coqueiro hotel in Goa
The real Charles shobraj is still in Nepals jail till today he have now turned 76 y/o !!
yes exactly :'(
Charles was relentless and sans – empathy; attracting, abusing and killing hybristophiliacs and naive bimbos, very much like every other famous sociopath out there.
Goes to show what a relatively intelligent, anti-social predator can do.
The house of rising sun hits hard in this series bgm ❤️
charles shobraj was mixed indian + vietnamese, but he is being played by an arab, WTF !
Wrong casting. An North East Indian or Nepali or even a Vietnamese actor would have been perfect for this role.
This show was a great watch
amazing series, but Herman Knippenberg should've been played by a dutch speaking actor. his pronounciation is atrocious.
Am I the only one who wanted to see an interaction with Herman and Charles? Kinda sucks that we didn't get one
The subject of the book Serpentine by Thomas Thompson in 1979.
It's great but Nettflix really should have invested in more authentic costumes and the wigs were bad, it took me out of it at ties, a shame
I really like this show. But there is one thing that I don't like, and that is that they didn't cast any dutch actors to play the main parts. Even though they still did a good job. As a dutch person you could hear that they were not.
Charles Sobhraj is a hero!
Been a fan of Tahar Rahim since The Looming Tower. Love watching him deep dive in characters he portrays
I watched each episode with great interest. and the real pictures in the latest series are simply perfect.
the movie actor is better @main aur charles, this one doesnt have the X factor
what's the song that plays here 1:00 ?
It is the trend to glorifying the evil deeds of people now adays.
I won't lie, Im half way through the series and it didn't catch my attention as much as I wanted, regardless I'll finish it.
But god damn i keep coming back to this trailer, it is SO WELL made! Great song aswell
This killer was based on indian killer Charles shobraj
Watched it in one night. Perfect series and mesmerizing acts of Tahar Rahim. I think it’s the best i have ever watched for a long long time.
Charles Sobhraj is Vietnamese
I am here after listening to desi crime podcast. This story is so dark, took a shit out of me. Charles is the smartest psychopath.
I am almost done with the third episode yet and i dont regret it. Good show and I holded my breath here period.
NOT worth your time:
If you expect a good thriller, dont watch it. Its got too much expected scened, no surprises.
Very dull and not thrilling, not captivating, not disturbing, not scary.
Its honestly a series, that makes you think meh after every scene.
I forced myself to watch the whole thing, because i read so many good comments about it under this trailer here.
Its one of those series you watch on television, if nothing better is on at the moment.
You would rather listen to Fallons fake laugh for 50 minutes straight than this series, trust me.
Scenery/visuals/plot is very poorly made.
I hate to say it but this psycho has so much swagger. I love the way he dresses
I saw him today at hospital and found that he is more danger than i think
Seen a lot true crime documentaries series and shows but this one really very difficult to watch
最近剛看完,真的很好看,好可惜只有一季!
TONTON JOHNNY SUR LA MUSIQUE ALLEZ
