It's a very hard movie to watch, it's really sad but if it helps someone that has been sexual abused and thinks it's to late to say something it's never to late.

Fuck YouTube for even showing the trailer , fuck HBO and Netflix for promoting it. As of today I'm shutting my 10 year Netflix subscription and canceling anything HBO on my plan. Sick twisted individuals pushing this film to make people think ok…

This show is disgusting. Keep in mind that a real child actor plays the part and has to play out the scenes of rape/molestation and, SPOILER ALERT, the adults who rape her totally get away with it and face zero consequences. Despite the veiled attempt to make it look like a story of redemption it's more of a pedophile fantasy movie. Screw you HBO!

I just finished watching this movie and let me say one thing: Go watch it. Sadly, Jennifer Fox's story is universal: Almost every women had to go through something like this, it's fucking heartbreaking. I cried, I wanted to punch a wall, I also had to skip some parts. Girls are sexualized from such a young age and that makes it so easy for predators to make a move, commit a sexual assault and move on without any consequences: IT IS NOT OKAY. With that being said, Laura did such a good job. Astounding, I hope she and Jenny get them Oscars' nominations.

It's devastating how similar the patterns are in case of psychological abuse. Either way, the victim is lonely and does not feel understood, and someone grooms it into the belief that it is special and loved. Only for their own ends.

This the saddest, most irresponsible version of story telling.
IF it's true, she may be the least brightest person on earth.
But she's already proven she's a liar and her memories can't be trusted.
