Just in case anyone cares… there is alien stuff going on, but this movie is actually about demonic possession. They actually DO "kill" people and inhabit their bodies, aka "taking their skin. And they do know who you are, especially if you know they are there. Amd they will rub it in your face that there is nothing you can do.

People are antagonizing the plot of the movie. This movie was never meant to be serious or taken as a serious movie. It's a comedy and includes alot of Satire content. This makes it enjoyable because the characters your used to seeing on screen portray something totally different than their normal role. Enjoyable and kept me interested. Not the greatest movie, but not the most horrible movie either. 7/10

I'm not calling the reviews and the ratings fake, but I didn't know a single person who disliked this movie when it came out.

Maybe people thought the movie was being serious? I legit watch it once every two or three years for a stress free 90 minutes.

If you don't laugh during the opening montage of the Costco security guard, then you have no soul. Great movie, 8/10

Despite how bad this trailer is, The Watch is severely underrated. It's got some decent jokes, cool effects, and a really great final act. Don't know why critics trashed this gem when it came out.
