As Rafe stated, this is another turning of the wheel. Enjoy it for what it is and stop sweating the details. They are telling a good story with all the heart and spirit of the books!

Started a little slow but now I'm hooked! Most poor reviews are all people who expected the show to perfectly follow the books. While I understand that, I've never read the books and don't feel like committing to 2522342 books haha…awesome show!

Love it but needs more episodes per season. If they are going to make us wait a year or two between each season at least give us 10-12 episodes. If HBO could do it with Game of Thrones in the early years Amazon surely can.

I can't help but think that the writers either didn't read the books at all, or thought they could do better than the writer. This could be adapted better and anyone who says differently is lying. I hope this show gets cancelled so it can be done properly next time. Rather have no show than this travesty.

You need to do something about this show. I want to like this, but it's looking very low budget both in acting and sets. You manage to even make Rosamund Pike look bad. Change the script writers and director(s), cause this ain't it

Extreme fan of the books. I read/listen to them at least once a year. You lost me on this episode. Was so looking forward to what could be done with such wonderful source material. Really dissapointed.

this was by far the worst episode. for the last 2 episodes it's been a bunch of bs drama. if you are going to skip almost half of the first book, you need good replacement for what you are skipping. moreover, just because you want to hide the identity of the Dragon, you ruined character development. just dumping the 3 main characters aside, especially the Protagonist, cuz you wanna surprise people when that person's perspective is essential to what makes the journey ahead worthwhile is really poor decision. when you don't build the character properly no one cares about the reveal of the mystery you invented anyway.

Love the casting, and world building – but this has officially strayed so dramatically from the books and not for the better…. The vast and unnecessary plot changes have actually sacrificed actual plot and character building. I don’t see how the show can get to where it needs to be in 2 more episodes. Definitely bump the episodes to 13 per season and actually do the books justice. As is – I’d recommend saying loosely inspired by the books…. As a reader – I expected changes in the show, and was optimistic. The cast, as I said, is amazing…but at this point, I am just realizing this is not the Wheel of Time. This is Amazon trying to emulate GOT which is typical and unfortunate. Don’t make up storylines just pick the best ones from the book…. There’s plenty to go off…

As I was afraid the story has been changed to make it more "relevant" and politically correct – why can't they just tell the story that was written! – I understand that changes have to be make because it is a differnt media but don't change it just to portray your own viewpoints! On the positive side some of the episodes have been excellent especially number 5.
