Drawn from the novel of the same name by Philippa Gregory, “The White Princess” is a tale of power, family, love and betrayal, charting one of the most tumultuous times in British history uniquely from the point of view of the women. The tempestuous marriage between Elizabeth of York (Lizzie) and King Henry VII, officially marks the conclusion of The War of the Roses, but the real battle for the throne is far from over.

If he's a good Kind and cares about his people then I dont see why there is soo much reluctance and hesitation. I really hope Henry and Lizzie have a good ending instead of distance and war from both sides.

I love how they hyped up The White Queen so much, but now that it's the The White Princess's turn, it's not even barely close to being as hyped up to as it's predecessor.

LOL how sad… you cancel Reign to then sell off the same thing on the english perspective but honestly i never even liked Reign, it's so cheesy and ruined the whole medevil mood with the modern music blazing at us… makes no sense and not true to the period.

As a man who is new to White Princess, I must say – Henry surprised me. I expected another evil or spoiled king, like Joffrey from Game of Thrones or something like that, but instead, they gave me a man who tries to be a good king, who'a not driven with bloodlust or madness or hatred. King Henry is the most likable character on this show, and I hope that he'll be a happy man, which he deserves to be.

Ok one thing I do not get is why in all the trailers and featurettes Lizzie is shown hating Henry and wanting him gone from the throne. The clips are chosen that way even tho from the show we know she isn't talking about him in some of them. In show she grows to care for him, she kills her own brother so Henry could stay on the throne. It's kinda misguided if you ask me…I honestly from the trailer expected them to hate each other through out of the series, but things change as years go by
