As part of the launch campaign surrounding the second season of the thrilling YA series, The Wilds, social media influencers were recently invited into the grand social experiment at the heart of the show through a live trailer performance.
Survival hangs in the balance for a group of teenage girls stranded on a deserted island, after the explosive discovery that what’s happening to them is an elaborate social experiment. Season 2 ups the drama and keeps you guessing, with the introduction of more test subjects – a new island of teenage boys – who must also fight for survival under the watchful eye of the experiment’s puppet master.

Season one I enjoyed- not so with Season 2.
That's a horrible trailer.
I've never heard of the show before and after watching the trailer I have no idea what it is about, let alone if it is likely to fit my taste.
And while the synopsis (video description) provides some additional clarification, I'm still confused to what genre is even the show… is it "Reality Show" or dramatization of fictional reality show? Likely the latter, but…
