When their father passes away, four grown siblings, bruised and banged up by their respective adult lives, are forced to return to their childhood home and live under the same roof together for a week, along with their over-sharing mother and an assortment of spouses, exes and might-have-beens. Confronting their history and the frayed states of their relationships among the people who know and love them best, they ultimately reconnect in hysterical and emotionally affecting ways amid the chaos, humor, heartache and redemption that only families can provide— driving us insane even as they remind us of our truest, and often best, selves.

This looks like a perfectly done paint-by-numbers piece of trash. Was that the intent? I'm interested to say the least, but don't know if I feel like sitting through it to find out

Considering I don't care for Tina Fey or Jane Fonda, I sure liked this movie. In all fairness there were plenty of other actors whom I appreciate & respect in it to make up for the 2 I don't.

I come from a family of four siblings, me being Philip, this movie is too accurate, the sibling relationships are so real, loved it, also love my siblings, this sweet movie reminded me of that

At 54:46 in the film, they need to edit out the comment "and popping Xanax like tic tacs. Xanax, a benzodiazapine is a DANGEROUS drug. If your doctor suggests a prescription, delicately DECLINE. Once hooked, you are screwed. Read the countless articles about trying to taper off the drug.
